* Connecting with students and families of students with diverse needs * Team approach with administrators, classroom teachers, student and parent to assess and plan for student needs * Coordinating and partnering with outside agencies to assist with meeting needs (i.e.. speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, divisional specialized staff etc.) *Developing & assisting staff in creation and maintenance of Student IEPTS *Presenting & facilitating PD and learning opportunities regarding diverse learners *Overseeing PUF programming at school site and working directly with central office staff for student programming *Coordinate Regular PUF Family Planning Sessions on topics including: early literacy, early mathematics, life skills, positive parenting, imaginative play *Creation & running of school wide sensory room (see document below) * Assisting Educational Assistants in meeting student needs through working one on one, weekly discussions, providing PD opportunities *Creation and maintenance of school-wide pyramid of interventions *Providing release time and teacher coaching in order to best meet teacher and student learner needs * Budgetting for specific student needs and assistive technology devices, as well as overseeing school wide purchases to improve or enhance student learning (i.e. assistive technology, personalized tech devices, fidgets, sensory room materials)
